A New Serenity Prayer
A prayer to memorize:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change,
courage to change the one I can,
and the wisdom to know that it’s me.
Often times as parents we want things to go how we want them to go. We want our kids to change; we want their behavior to change; we want our family to change — but we are resistant to changing the only thing we truly control: ourselves.
This week, pray that God would grant you the peace and the wisdom to take a deep breath and be willing to change you.
