You may never experience a more powerful, practical, and real presentation of Gospel focused parenting.
These workshops meet parents where they’re at, and encourage and equip them for Biblically-based parenting. One workshop participant had this to say:
“I’ve been to hundreds of lectures, trainings, and seminars, and this one completely stood out! The content was engaging, and the innovative activities touched all learning styles while going to the core of the soul. It changed my life!”

“I just wanted to thank you again for your fabulous talk. Many people told me that you were the best speakers they’ve ever had at MOPS. You dealt well with the difficult emotions we experience as moms, that are so important, but tough to be open about. The women also loved that you shared your own stories, and were amazed at your story!”

MOPS coordinator, Prince of Peace Lutheran

“A passion for families is clearly evident in both of you. Your transparency in your relationship and your different personalities make a very interesting and fast paced presentation. I like that you let your hair down and connect with the audience! This was the most effective training I’ve seen in 18 years of parent education.”
Nancy Dilks
Early Childhood Family Education Director, District 112
“Wow, Jim and Lynne Jackson, what a team. This is a wealth of insight and skill! I had the privilege of being in a parents training seminar with Jim and Lynne as they led a group of churched and un churched parents in several sessions on how to raise Godly students. I was envious of their ability to draw in the parents and then supply them with practical Biblical help.
Jim and Lynne come with a life time of faithful Godly living and proving what they teach Biblically thru their lives.”
Mark J Gold
Pastor, Friendship Church, Shakopee
“I have been inundated with positive comments about you two! Everyone I’ve talked to enjoyed your presentation. A few of the comments I have heard are; “They are among the best speakers we have ever had!”, “Jim and Lynne were fabulous!”, “They were so real and down-to-earth”, “The information they shared was just what I needed to hear!” to share just a few! If you guys are up for it, we’d LOVE to have you return next year.”

MOPS Coordinator, Elk River
“For the first time in my life I feel like I’ve been freed to listen to the Holy Spirit for parenting wisdom rather than to some expert’s formula. Just the other day my son said, ‘Mom, how come you smile when you discipline us now?’ I told him, ‘Because the Lord is showing me, even in times like these, how much he loves us both!’ So thank you!”
Michelle Swanson
“When my daughter had outbursts, in my mind I labeled her a “train wreck!” I never spoke the words to her but she knew my growing resentment through increasingly harsher responses. Through Connected Families God convicted me about that hurtful belief and I learned to replace it with His loving truth. This significantly changed both my relationship with my daughter and my relationship with God!”
Ryan
Des Moines, IA
“We loved the seminar. My husband and I both took notes like crazy – there were so many ideas that impacted us. The idea of reframing behavior we label as “bad” in a way that relates it to a God-given gift and how God might use it for “good” was particularly eye-opening. It’s been so helpful to have Biblical wisdom broken down into practical steps and scenarios to call on in a tough situation. I find it so much easier when I have a “game plan” to work from and tools/verses I can draw from.”
Paige Garber
“I loved the interaction between you two – your honesty, your mistakes, your frustration – your message of hope and purpose.”
Kim Isaak
“At your workshop I really learned the value of staying calm in the midst of teen turmoil. I used to be angry at my husband for not getting involved but now I see his obedience to James 1 that tells each of us to be quick to listen and slow to angry words. I now see the blessing in his thoughtful, gentle response, and realize that I am the one who needs a parent time out. I see that the discipline is not just about the kids, but also about me!”
Cathy Victorsen
“The parenting workshop by Jim and Lynne Jackson thankfully didn’t focus on superficial techniques, but gave me key insights as a father. Am I parenting from a place of intimidation or safety? Is my child’s behavior in control of my mood either positively or negatively? What kind of non-verbal communication am I using with my children and is it intentional or unintentional? All these points and more were brought up in a dynamic way. All fathers can benefit from this wisdom and I highly recommend it to any parent.
Dr. Kyle Warren
