Founder Jim Jackson worked working with at-risk youth for over ten years. Over that space of time he, and his wife Lynne developed a growing sense that the greatest way to help youth was to work with whole families. From that conviction, Cross-Generation was born, with a mission to build strength into families in ways that would carry on for generations to come.
Scope of work
The various branches of Cross-Generation’s programs interact with families across a broad spectrum:
- families in extreme crisis and danger (Child safety work)
- families and individuals experiencing relational challenge or depression (Counseling)
- families proactively seeking to build strength early on (Parent education)
