With many years of experience working with children—first as an Early Learning Educator and then in Early Childhood Development, I am committed to bringing unique insights into children’s needs and behaviors.

My personal journey with the Connected Families framework has profoundly impacted how I approach parenting and work. It has helped me to truly understand God’s grace and empowered me to better connect with both my two teenage children and the children I work with. This grace is the foundation of my coaching. I am passionate about equipping parents and educators to experience this freedom and bring God’s grace to the very heart of their parenting and teaching. Working with the Connected Families framework has become an important part of my everyday life. We had reached a crisis point with one of our boys when we reached out for coaching from Connected Families. Their gospel-infused framework, with very practical tools, has been transformative in so many ways. We wish we had known of Connected Families years ago! My journey to become a parent coach started when God called me and my husband into the process of rebuilding the foundations of our family. Connected Families was the complete answer to our question: “how”. Later I understood that the calling wasn’t only for the sake of our own family, but for something bigger that God is doing in this time. Through the grace of God, we’ve started to see the blessing of the Christ-centered transformation in our family, which is the main vision of Connected Families. I’m a mom of three sensitive and intense kids. I’m excited to coach and walk alongside families who long to see the gospel, God’s love and grace lived true in the midst of all the challenges of the daily life of their family and parenting. I also lead workshops, courses for small groups and translate Connected Families content into the Finnish language, which can help parents, as well as people who work with or are in any close connection with kids. I live and work in Finland. Polkuni vanhemmuuden valmentajaksi alkoi siitä kun Jumala kutsui minut ja mieheni “perheen perustusten uudelleenrakennusprosessiin”. Connected Families on ollut kokonaisvaltainen vastaus “miten”-kysymykseemme. Myöhemmin ymmärsin että tuo kutsu ei ollut vain omaa perhettämme varten, vaan osa jotain suurempaa, mitä Jumala on tekemässä tässä ajassa. Jumalan armosta olemme saaneet alkaa nähdä Kristus-keskeistä muutosta perheessämme, joka on Connected Families:n päänäky. Olen kolmen herkän ja intensiivisen lapsen äiti. All families struggle at times, and we all need support. I desire to bring hope and direction for parents through parent coaching and see a lasting positive change in the whole family. As a parent coach I am passionate about the well-being of families. I come alongside parents and help them find a long-lasting plan that increases peace and grace in the family. I am a mom of three active girls and an Executive Director at a family ministry called Moms for Kids or “Momssit”. Through my work, I serve families especially in Finland. When my daughters were first born, my husband worked out of town every weekday and I was struggling with post-partum depression. As a mom desiring to do everything perfectly, I was drowning under a sea of unmet expectations. I had goals and didn’t have a plan for how to make them a reality. From my time as a counselor, I knew I wanted our girls to know their value, but I struggled to enforce consequences. When I found the Connected Families material, I found the tools to apply the principles that were most important to me in counseling. It was like someone had written a how-to manual on being a wholehearted parent. I was thrilled and spent the next 6 years applying the framework in my home and reading The Discipline that Connects book with as many friends as would meet me for coffee. So when I learned that Connected Families was training coaches I knew that I wanted to become a coach. And share this life-giving framework with others. After saying “Yes” to Jesus to move to Belize as a missionary from 2008-2018, our family was never the same. Since we became parents, we have grown in having biological, foster, and adopted children and experience with traumas, abuse, ADHD, fetal alcohol syndrome, self-harm, and sensory and intense behaviors. Because I have learned and read so much over the years, the Lord has taught me how to be a better parent and how to walk as a child of God as well. I want to serve other families with compassion, biblical truth, practical suggestions, equipping, and a listening ear in crisis.
